Use SSO with Prismm

Overview

In a few easy steps, set up and use private Single Sign-On (SSO) with your Prismm account. The following instructions cover connecting your organization's SSO identity provider (IdP) metadata to your Prismm account and using SSO to sign in (Note: signing into private SSO requires a company ID). 

Onboard your SSO IdP account

1. Have your IT specialist:

   a. Contact Prismm customer support: support@prismm.com.

   b. Download your organization’s SSO IdP metadata file: metadata.xml.
   
   File download instructions:

   • Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
   • Okta
   • Google Workspace
   • For custom SSO, contact your IdP

   c. Provide Prismm customer support with your:

   • SSO IdP metadata file: metadata.xml
   • Account name
   • Account ID

2. Prismm customer support will configure your metadata on the Prismm platform.

Sign in using SSO

With your SSO IdP and Prismm accounts connected:

1. Go to the Prismm sign-in page.

2. Select the button Sign in with SSO. 
   (Note: with SSO implemented, you can no longer use your previous sign in method.)

   

3. Enter your company ID.  

   (Notes:  
   a. To ensure you’re entering your company ID accurately, check with your IT department to verify syntax. You’ll be redirected to your SSO IdP.  
   b. If SSO isn’t set up for your organization, contact Prismm customer support.)

   

4. Finish signing in.
   (Note: manage your name, password, and users through your SSO IdP.)
