Insert tables with chairs
- On the page Events, subtab Events, choose an event, in the row, far right side, select the button Select.

Select the tab Seating.

Select a floorplan.
- In the top level, horizontal navigation, under the tab Seating, to the left, select the subtab Objects.
- Find objects for the floorplan, search:
a. Using drop-down menus View, Category or Type.
b. Using the text field Search.
c. Scroll through the list of objects. - Insert individual tables, chairs, and other objects, into the floorplan using click-drag, click-drop:
a. In the list, place your cursor over the object and select your mouse button.
b. Drag the item from the list to the desired location in the floorplan.
c. To insert the object, select your mouse button again.
(Note: The number of times the object appears in the floorplan displays.)

Insert multiple instances of the same object:
a. In the Objects list or Favorites list, place your cursor over any list item.
b. In the lower right corner of the list item, select the icon auto layout.
c. In the pop-up window:
1) Select the object auto layout shape.
2) In the floorplan design window, a crosshair icon appears. Select the icon and drag it to the area in which you want the objects to appear and release.
3) Determine the object's horizontal and vertical spacing.
4) Select the button OK.
Add tabletop place settings

Select the object.
- To add tabletop place settings, in the pop-up window, lower left corner, select the button Open Designer.
In the window Tabletop Designer, the Place Settings preset provides access to the collection of place setting objects (dinnerware, flatware [silverware], drinkware).
- Under the tab Place Setting, select the button Add Preset.

In the Preset:
a. Close the Tip Card. Select the X.
b. Provide a name.
c. Select the button Save. -
Add, delete, rename, or duplicate a preset.
- Filter objects by category or search/scroll through the list of objects.

In the list, place your cursor over the object and select your mouse button.

Drag the item from the list to the table (highlighted chair).

To insert the object, select your mouse button again.
Notes:
- Each object placed in front of the highlighted seat automatically appears in front of the other seats.
- Selecting and repositioning an object in front of the highlighted seat automatically repositions the object in front of the other seats. As you add objects, in the lower left corner of the design area, view in the 3D viewer (select between bird view [overhead] and in-person [ground-level] view).
Add table settings

In the window Tabletop Designer, the Table Settings preset provides access to the collection of table setting objects (candles and holders, lanterns and luminaries, vases and centerpiece chargers).

Under the tab Table Setting, select the button Add Preset.
- In the Preset:
a. Close the Tip Card. Select the X.
b. Provide a name.
c. Select the button Save. -
Add, delete, rename, or duplicate a preset.
- Filter objects by category or search/scroll through the list of objects.

In the list, place your cursor over the object and select your mouse button.

Drag the item from the list to the table.
- To insert the object, select your mouse button again.
(Note: As you add objects, in the lower left corner of the design area, view in the 3D viewer (select between bird view [overhead] and in-person [ground-level] view).
Add table linens

Select the tab Table Linens.

Select the table linen type and color.
- To close the window Tabletop Designer, in the upper right corner of the window, select the X. You return to the window:
Apply settings to all tables
To apply place settings, table settings and linen settings to all instances of the same object, select the link Apply to all tables:
Set minimum table distances
- To the right, top of the floorplan design area, to set minimum distances between Tables and Tables and rest, select the icon Settings.
(Note: Settings prevents placing objects closer together than the minimum distance selected. Settings does not actively space objects on the floorplan.)
